  2. 30 de ene. de 2024 · German princess of Principality of Ansbach by birth and by marriage Duchess of Württemberg (1527-1589) – Anna Maria of Brandenburg-Ansbach was born in Krnov (Municipality in the Czech Republic) on December 28th, 1526 and died in Nürtingen (Town in Baden-Württemberg, Germany) on May 20th, 1589 at the age of 62.

  3. Anna Maria was the daughter of Duke Eric I of Brunswick-Calenberg (1470–1540) and Elizabeth of Brandenburg (1510–1558). She married in 1550 Margrave Albert I of Brandenburg-Ansbach (1490–1568), who had been created the first Duke of Prussia in 1525; she was his second wife. Albert died of the plague on 20 March 1568 at Tapiau Castle.

Life [ edit ] Sophie was a daughter of the Margrave George of Brandenburg-Ansbach-Kulmbach (1484–1543) from his third marriage to Emilie of Saxony (1516–1591), daughter of the Duke Henry IV of Saxony.
