Anna Maria of Brandenburg-Ansbach (28 December 1526 – 20 May 1589) was a German princess of Brandenburg-Ansbach. Early life. Anna Maria von Brandenburg-Ansbach (* 28. Dezember 1526 in Jägerndorf; † 20. Mai 1589 in Nürtingen) war eine Prinzessin von Brandenburg-Ansbach und durch Heirat Herzogin von Württemberg .
Anna Maria was a daughter of the John George, Elector of Brandenburg (1525–1598), from his second marriage to Sabina of Brandenburg-Ansbach (1548–1575), daughter of the George, Margrave of Brandenburg-Ansbach. In 1580, she was engaged to Barnim X, Duke of Pomerania of Pomerania and on 8 January 1581, she married him in Berlin.
