4 de mar. de 2024 · Frederick I (born Oct. 7, 1471, Denmark—died April 10, 1533, Gottorp, Schleswig) was the king of Denmark (1523–33) and Norway (1524–33) who encouraged Lutheranism in Denmark but maintained a balance between opposing Lutheran and Roman Catholic factions. This equilibrium crumbled after his death.
