Anne Gainsford, Lady Zouche (died before 16 July 1548) was a close friend and lady-in-waiting to Queen consort Anne Boleyn . She was in the household of Anne Boleyn, as early as 1528 before the latter became the second wife of Henry VIII of England five years later.

Anne Gainsford, the daughter of John Gainsford and Anne Hawte Gainsford, was born in Crowhurst, Surrey. (1) She joined the household of Anne Boleyn and in 1528 she claims that her mistress was caught reading Obedience of a Christian Man. In the book William Tyndale had argued that kings had authority over the church.

Anne Gainsford is thought to have joined Anne Boleyn’s household before Anne married Henry, probably around 1528, and she became one of the Queen’s ladies-in-waiting in 1533. She became Lady Zouche on her marriage to Sir George Zouche in 1533 and it is said that the couple had eight children.
