Perhaps the least celebrated in a line of overlooked women, Queen Anne (1702-1714) was the woman who unified England and Scotland, took ownership of Gibraltar and helped galvanise Britain’s maturing two-party political system.
Anne of Cleves (born September 22, 1515—died July 16, 1557, London, England) was the fourth wife of King Henry VIII of England.Henry married Anne because he believed that he needed to form a political alliance with her brother, William, duke of Cleves, who was a leader of the Protestants of western Germany.

Anne was Queen of Great Britain and Ireland following the ratification of the Acts of Union on 1 May 1707, which merged the kingdoms of Scotland and England. Before this, she was Queen of England, Scotland, and Ireland from 8 March 1702.
On Saturday, the Privy Council invited Georg Ludwig of Hanover to come to England as soon as possible as it was obvious the Queen's end was near. Anne died at 7:45 am on Sunday, 1 August 1714, aged 49, at Kensington Palace. The last of the Stuarts, her body lay at the palace for three weeks.

Richard was crowned in Westminster Abbey on 16th July 1377 aged 10. He married Anne of Bohemia in January 1382 and both are buried in the Abbey. His portrait hangs in the nave.
