His father was a confidant of William of Orange and later was made first earl of Albemarle. William Anne Keppel succeeded to his father’s titles and estates in 1718.

  4. He married Lady Anne Lennox Countess of Albemarle on 21 February 1722, in Caversham, Oxfordshire, England. They were the parents of at least 8 sons and 6 daughters.
