  5. BC and AD make much more sense. Although rooted in Christianity, Before Christ & Anno Domini is based on a widely accepted timeframe of an event, and doesn’t sugarcoat it. Whether you believe Jesus is “Christ” or not is irrelevant. I myself am an atheist leaning agnostic.
