Sir Anthony Ughtred or Oughtred, Knight banneret (c. 1478 – 6 October 1534) was an English soldier and military administrator during the reigns of Henry VII and Henry VIII. Ughtred fought in Ireland, the Anglo Scottish border and both on land and at sea in France.

25 de jun. de 2016 · Lady Ughtred (c.1530-1534) In January 1531, Elizabeth married Sir Anthony Ughtred, her first husband. They had a son, Henry (c. 1533) and a daughter born after Sir Anthony died in the fall or winter of 1534. She was named Margery (c.1535). It is unclear what happened to her children, Henry and Margery after Sir Anthony died.
On Saturday, 31 May 1533, Lady Ughtred was one of the ladies and gentlewomen attendant on horseback who accompanied Queen Anne Boleyn in a procession from the Tower of London to Westminster Hall. Sir Anthony Ughtred died 6 October 1534 in Jersey, and was buried in the chapel of St George, in the castle of Mont Orgueil.
When Anthony Ughtred was born about 1478, in Kexby, Yorkshire, England, his father, Sir Robert Ughtred, was 51 and his mother, Catherine Eure, was 53. He married Eleanor before 1514. He died on 6 October 1534, in Jersey, at the age of 57, and was buried in Gorey, Jersey.
Sir Anthony Ughtred, born in about 1478, was Governor of Berwick and served in the Scottish wars. He was appointed Governor of Jersey in 1532 and died two years later and was buried, with Sir Thomas Ovray , in the crypt of St George's Chapel, Mont Orgueil .

Anthony Ughtred fue un noble inglés nacido en el siglo XVI. Fue el hijo mayor de Sir William Ughtred y su esposa Anne Radclyffe y heredó el título de su padre como barón de Langar. Ughtred también fue nombrado caballero de la Orden del Baño por la reina Isabel I en 1603.
