2 de oct. de 2014 · Archduke Carl Christian of Austria (Carl Christian Maria Anna Rudolph Anton Marcus d’Aviano), known as Christian, is the husband of Princess Marie Astrid of Luxembourg. He was born on August 26, 1954, at the Château de Belœil in Belgium, the second son of Archduke Carl Ludwig of Austria and Princess Yolande of Ligne .
On 6 February 1982 in Luxembourg, she married her second cousin Archduke Carl Christian of Austria, younger son of Archduke Carl Ludwig of Austria (himself the fourth son of Emperor Charles I of Austria) and his wife Princess Yolande of Ligne, of the House of Ligne. They have five children:

Early life and background. Karl von Habsburg was born on 11 January 1961 in Starnberg, Bavaria. He was baptised in Pöcking, Bavaria, as Archduke Karl of Austria ( Erzherzog Karl von Österreich ), the name entered in the baptismal records. [5]

He is venerated in the Catholic Church, was beatified by Pope John Paul II on 3 October 2004, and is known to the Catholic Church as Blessed Karl of Austria. [2] Charles succeeded to the thrones in November 1916 following the death of his grand-uncle, Franz Joseph.
Designed by the architect Joseph Kornhäusel, and one of the most important creations of the Classicistic age in Austria, it was sadly destroyed in 1945. Karl did not marry until 1815, when he was already forty-four. His bride was Henriette von Nassau-Weilburg (1797–1829).
