Hedwig was gehuwd met Aschwin von Cramm, uit welk huwelijk in 1883 de latere prinses Armgard werd geboren. Vanwege het landgoed van 2800 hectare dat zij inbracht in het huwelijk en om de naam van haar familie te bewaren werd de naam van Aschwin von Cramm in 1881 gewijzigd in Aschwin von Sierstorpff-Cramm. [1]
Prince Bernhard was the elder son of Prince Bernhard von Lippe and Baroness Armgard von Sierstorpff-Cramm. He was married to Queen Juliana. Prince Bernhard died on 1 December 2004.

Armgard von Cramm was the mother of Prince Bernhard of Lippe-Biesterfeld, Prince consort of Queen Juliana of the Netherlands.

He was the younger brother of Prince Bernhard of Lippe-Biesterfeld .
Bernhard was born Bernhard Leopold Friedrich Eberhard Julius Kurt Karl Gottfried Peter, Count of Biesterfeld in Jena, Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach, German Empire on 29 June 1911, the elder son of Prince Bernhard of Lippe and his wife, Baroness Armgard von Sierstorpff-Cramm, member of one of the oldest Lower Saxon noble families, House of Cramm.
