3 de may. de 2024 · The drawing, by British architect Sir Aston Webb, shows a late-19 th-century renovation of the Church of St. Bartholomew the Great. At over 900 years old, St. Bart’s is the oldest surviving church in London! The drawing presented several condition issues.

23 de abr. de 2024 · The museum was renamed the Victoria and Albert Museum in 1899, when Queen Victoria laid the cornerstone for the present building, designed by Sir Aston Webb. This structure opened in 1909. Since then the museum’s premises have been modified and extended, partly into adjacent buildings.
Hace 6 días · The university's Great Hall is located in the domed Aston Webb Building, which is named after one of the architects – the other was Ingress Bell. The initial 25-acre (100,000 m 2 ) site was given to the university in 1900 by Lord Calthorpe.
