Hace 4 días · Frederick FitzClarence gained the rank of Commander-in-Chief of the Bombay Army in 1852. He died in October 1854. On 19 May 1821, he married Lady Augusta Boyle (d. 28 July 1876), the eldest daughter of the 4th Earl of Glasgow. They had two children- (i) Augusta FitzClarence (December 1824 - 18 October 1865) (ii) William FitzClarence (b. & d. 1827)
Lady Augusta Gordon, née FitzClarence, (1803 - 1865) was an English noblewoman. Born the fourth illegitimate daughter of William IV of the United Kingdom (then Duke of Clarence) by his long-time mistress Dorothea Jordan, she grew up at their Bushy House residence in Teddington. Augusta had four sisters and five brothers all surnamed FitzClarence.

He married Lady Augusta Fitzclarence, natural daughter of King William IV, (who gave her for one of her wedding presents, a yellow coach). John died in Pisa four years later and Lady Augusta returned to London where her child was born; she later remarried and did not move back to Dun until c.1840.
