Eva Aurora Charlotta Karamzin (née Stjernvall) (1 / 7 August 1808 Ulvila – 13 May 1902 Helsinki) was a Finnish philanthropist. Her better-known names are Princess Aurora Demidova and Aurora Karamzin , titles that were acquired after her first and second marriages, respectively.
Princess, Countess Aurora Pavlovna Demidova (Kiev, 2 November 1873 - Bussolino Torinese, Torino, 16 June 1904), married firstly in 1892 Prince Arsen of Yugoslavia, married secondly in 1897 Count Nicola Giovanni Maria di Noghera and had issue from both marriages, including Prince Paul of Yugoslavia.
Maria Pavlovna was away in Finland visiting her grandmother, Aurora, Demidova Karamzine, when Prince Abamelek-Lazarev unexpectely arrived from St. Petersburg. Over the course of the week he visit daily and then proposed marriage that was accepted. Unfortunatley, the happy marriage would not last.
