Benenden School is an independent day and boarding school for girls, founded in 1923 and situated in 250 acres of beautiful parkland in rural Kent. At present, there are 550 girls in the school. A considerable amount of new building has been completed in recent years, including an All-Weather Pitch, Staff Housing and a new School Hall and Music School.

Pupils from Benenden School have held a special Remembrance Sunday service in honour of a French pilot who died while saving the school buildings from a doodlebug 75 years ago. Dignitaries and relatives joined pupils and staff on Sunday (10 November) to pay tribute to the ultimate sacrifice made by Capitaine Jean Maridor (Free French).
Benenden needed a new Hall fit for today’s School and for the future, one that could fit our 550 girls plus staff in comfort. Designed by the multi award-winning Guy Hollaway Architects, the new Centenary Hall offers state-of-the-art acoustics and gives girls and audiences a truly professional performance experience.
11 de ene. de 2021 · Benenden School has announced that it will be opening its first schools overseas as part of a commitment to increase the number of pupils who are able to attend Benenden on significant bursaries. The School has partnered with Hong Kong-based CTF Education Group (CTFEG) to open a series of schools in China, with the first of these due to open in South China in 2023.
