Bernardin Frankopan (1453–1529) was a Croatian nobleman and diplomat, a member of the influential Frankopan noble family of Croatia. As one of the wealthiest and most distinguished aristocrats in the kingdom in his day, he had one of the leading roles in mounting defences of Croatian statehood against the Ottoman expansion.

Bernardin Frankopan (1453-1529) fue un noble y diplomático croata, miembro de la influyente familia noble Frangipani ( Frankopan ) de Croacia. Como uno de los aristócratas más ricos y distinguidos del reino en su época, tuvo uno de los papeles principales en el montaje de las defensas del estado croata contra la expansión otomana .
A su regreso, fueron interceptados cerca de Udbina por el ejército del ban croata Ladislav de Egervár y el conde Bernardin Frankopan, acabando derrotados en la batalla de Vrpile. Esta derrota obligó a los otomanos a detener sus ataques durante 1492.
