4 de may. de 2024 · Elizabeth of Pomerania (1347 – 15 April 1393) was the fourth and final wife of Charles IV, Holy Roman Emperor and king of Bohemia. Her parents were Bogislaw V, Duke of Pomerania and Elisabeth of Silesia, (died 1361). Her maternal grandparents were Casimir III, King of Poland and Aldona of Lithuania.
Hace 1 día · During the war, the noble House of Pomerania (Griffins), ruling the Duchy of Pomerania since the 1120s, became extinct in the male line with the death of Bogislaw XIV in 1637. Throughout the existence of the Griffin Duchy, Brandenburg had claimed overlordship and was asserted of Pomerania inheritance in numerous treaties.
3 de may. de 2024 · m firstly (Apr 1369) as his second wife, KASIMIR von Pommern, son of BOGISLAW V Duke of Pomerania in Hinterpommern & his first wife Elźbieta of Poland ([1351]-2 Jan 1377). He succeeded his father in 1373 as KASIMIR IV Duke of Pomerania in Stargard.
