Bogislaw X of Pomerania, the Great, (June 3, 1454 – October 5, 1523) was Duke of Pomerania from 1474 until his death in 1523. Bogislaw was born in Rügenwalde into the House of Pomerania (Griffins). His father was Eric II, Duke of Pomerania-Wolgast, his mother was the duchess Sophia of Pomerania, both distant relatives of the House of Pomerania.

Life. Mary was the eldest daughter of the Elector John "the Steadfast" of Saxony (1468–1532) from his second marriage to Margaret of Anhalt-Köthen (1494–1521), daughter Prince of Waldemar VI of Anhalt-Zerbst . She married on 27 February 1536 in Torgau Duke Philip I of Pomerania (1515–1560).
In 1478, the state was incorporated into the re-unified Duchy of Pomerania, under the rule of duke Bogislaw X. During its existence, part of its territory was partitioned into Pomerania-Stolp (1368), Pomerania-Neustettin (1368), [3] Pomerania-Barth (1376), [4] and Pomerania-Stargard (1377).
Barnim XI (1501–1573; by some accounts Barnim IX), son of Bogislaw X, Duke of Pomerania, became duke on his father's death in 1523.
