In these respects Reynolds has succeded admirably. Bone Silence is a wee bit better than its predecessors and I got through it in three days with only the slightest occasional urge to put it down and go watch Netflix instead. Unlike the first book in the series, Revenger this one does not seem to be a YA book or a girl's own adventure.
