Hace 10 horas · Built in 1106, today the Monastery is a part of the UNESCO site along with Bagrati Cathedral. Just to the east of Bagrati Cathedral you’ll find the ruins of the palace-citadel which dates back to the 6th century. It’s laid in ruin since 1769 but part of the walls and remnants of the church and wine cellars can still be seen.
