The Buchmann-Mehta School of Music (BMSM) is an institute of higher education in Tel Aviv, Israel. The school is a part of the Faculty of the Arts of Tel Aviv University and is operated in collaboration with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra (IPO).

The Buchmann-Mehta School of Music was founded in 2005, as a merge of the Samuel Rubin Israel Academy of Music, Tel-Aviv University's Musicology Department and the orchestral training program of the Israel Philharmonic.
Zubin Mehta, one of the most influential musicians of our time, established the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music together with his friend, philanthropist Josef Buchmann, and is actively involved in leading the School.
At Tel Aviv University, in addition to establishing the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music, Mr. Buchmann founded the Josef Buchmann Doctoral Fellowship Fund; co-sponsored the European Documentation Center; and dedicated the Buchmann Faculty of Law in memory of his parents who perished in the Holocaust.
