Una de las obras más impactantes de la Ringstrasse es el Burgtheater, levantado entre 1874 y 1888 por los arquitectos Gottfried Semper y Karl von Hasenauer.
Das Burgtheater, errichtet von 1874 bis 1888, war das letzte Glied in der Kette der Prunkbauten zur Neugestaltung der Ringstraße. Erbaut von den beiden Architekten Gottfried Semper und Karl von Hasenauer, gehört die prachtvolle Außenfassade zu den beliebten Sehenswürdigkeiten Wiens.
