Byron House School was an independent preparatory school in Highgate, London. History. Byron House was founded in 1897 as a progressive prep school "favoured by London's intelligentsia and famous for its advanced teaching methods".

The school is divided into two halves, Byron house for KG, T1, T2, Form 1 and Form 2 (Reception - Year 4) whilst the 2nd part of the school, further up Grange Road, is in charge of Forms 3-6 (Years 5 - 8). The school has been awarded national Best Prep School and national Best Prep School Head in the Tatler Schools Awards.

11 de mar. de 2019 · Lady Byron founded the Ealing Grove School within the site now occupied by the University of West London (UWL). The site also accommodated the Byron House School from 1860. Lady Byron’s work in the education of the working classes is commemorated by a blue plaque on the exterior wall of the main entrance to UWL on St Mary’s Road.
