Pepper isn’t perfect, in everyone’s opinions. Here’s a list of various published “best album” (etc etc) lists which include Pepper. Only ten lists place it at Number 1:

  4. Hace 4 días · In 1969, "Cabin Essence" (retitled "Cabinessence") and "Prayer" (retitled "Our Prayer") appeared on the band's album 20/20, with additional vocals that were recorded by Carl, Dennis, and Johnston in November 1968.

  6. 14 de abr. de 2024 · The PS backing tracks are superb and a perfect example of the genius that is Brian Wilson. However I think the SMiLE backing tracks are even better and remarkably different from those recorded for PS just a short time before.
