The Mary Jane Girls were an American girl group formed in 1983, best known for their songs "In My House", "All Night Long", "Candy Man", and their cover version of "Walk Like a Man". 1 de abr. de 2024 · McDuffie joined forces with fellow singers Candice “Candi” Ghant, Kim “Maxi” Wuletich, and Cheryl Bailey to form the Mary Jane Girls. The group’s name was inspired by Rick James’ love of marijuana. The Mary Jane Girls signed to James’ label, Gordy Records, and released their self-titled debut album in 1983.
