Carlos Prio-Touzet (born 5 February 1955 in Havana, Cuba), is an architect in Miami, Florida. He is the son of Cuban President, Carlos Prio, who was overthrown by Fulgencio Batista in the 1952 Cuban coup d'état, and Celia Rosa Touzet Masfera (born 1929).
Led by Cuban-American co-founders Jacqueline Gonzalez Touzet and Carlos Prio-Touzet, Touzet Studio is an atelier, focused on creativity through a continuous and collaborative process inspired by the unique conditions specific to each client, community and site.
Carlos Prio-Touzet became a Founding Principal of Touzet Studio in 2004. His thoughtful, carefully crafted design solutions have earned him a reputation as one of South Florida’s leading modern architects. In 2017 he received the Silver Award, and in 2015 was named Architect of the Year by the Miami Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
