Hace 4 días · Catherine Carey was born in 1524, the daughter of William Carey and Mary Boleyn Henry’s infamous mistress, sister of Anne Boleyn. The timing of Catherine’s birth and the nature of the relationship between Mary and Henry has led many to suggest that Catherine could be Henry’s daughter.

There’s some decent evidence to support the theory that Anne’s niece Catherine Carey Knollys, whose mother was Mary Boleyn, was Henry VIII’s daughter (and not as much evidence that her brother Henry Carey was also the King’s son).
