Her research interest is the wisdom literature of the Old Testament and she has written four books on Job and two on Proverbs as well as an introduction for students entitled Get Wisdom, Get Insight!

Prior to that she was Development Officer and, latterly, Associate Development Director, at St John's College, Cambridge, where she also took her BA in Classics and rowed with the Lady Margaret Boat Club.
