German Nobility. Born the last child of Joachim I. Nestor von Brandenburg and Elisabeth of Denmark. His father divided his territories between his two sons. The Margraviate of Brandenburg-Küstrin was created for Johann while Joachim inherited the title of Elector and the rest of Brandenburg.
11 de may. de 2021 · Thank you for the additional historical background on Brandenburg-Kustrin. It still leaves me confused on this coin being attributed to two places which are 500 km apart (Brandenburg-Kustrin and Krosno).
