Hace 2 días · Cecilia Bowes was born on 11th September 1862, in Belgravia, Westminster. She was the daughter of Rev. Charles Cavendish-Bentinck and Louisa. Her father was the grandson of British Prime Minister William Cavendish-Bentinck. He was the 3rd Duke of Portland.

Wedacre and the Barnacre estate, together with Greenhalgh and Lingart, were purchased from Lord Bective's representatives in 1899 by the late Thomas Henry Rushton.
