Website. http://www.centralfoundationboys.co.uk. Central Foundation Boys' School is a voluntary-aided comprehensive secondary school in the London Borough of Islington. It was founded at a meeting in 1865 and opened the following year in Bath Street, before moving to its current location on Cowper Street in 1869.

Central Foundation is a popular and over-subscribed comprehensive school for boys aged 11 to 16, with a successful co-educational Sixth Form. A Central Foundation education involves providing our students with a wide range of educational experiences, including the academic, sporting, musical, dramatic, debating and public speaking.
Home / Sixth Form. Our students go places! Vocational students work at Google and Montcalm. A Level students are at Manchester, Oxbridge and Harvard. Central Foundation is a unique school effectively combining a blend of modern and traditional values.
In 1891 the Middle Class School took over the Bishopsgate Ward Schools in the City of London. A separate Girls’ School was set up in Spital Square and the boys incorporated in the existing Boys’ School with a new Charter being granted and the schools being renamed the Central Foundation Schools of London.
