It seems quite normal for counties that are split up into “east”, “west” etc. Yorkshire is probably the most famous historic county, but its ceremonial counties that make it up today have low page views. When people look up Yorkshire they probably just look up the Wikipedia page for just Yorkshire, and I’m guessing the same with Sussex .
