Five years later, on 10 December 1814 in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, Eliza married Lt. Col. Robert Charles Ellice, a younger brother of her "brother-in-law" Edward Ellice. Their father was Alexander Ellice (1743–1805) of Bath, London, and Montreal, a partner in the Schenectady, New York firm of Phyn, Ellice & Co.

Recipe book November 13th 1856. This manuscript cookbook, written in several different hands, belonged to Sir Charles Henry Ellice, and is believed to have been used throughout his career and travels as an officer stationed in India for most of his career.
Robert Ellice (1 January 1816 – 19 December 1858), married Eglantine Balfour, [6] sister of Jane Ellice. These two sisters were captured and held captive for a week during the Battle of Beauharnois. The couple had one son: Major Edward Charles Ellice (1858–21 February 1943) he married Margaret Thomas on 11 April 1889.
