  2. 26 de abr. de 2022 · Charles Fitzroy, 2nd Duke of Grafton was born on 25 October 1683 at Arlington House, Middlesex, England.4 He was the son of Henry Fitzroy, 1st Duke of Grafton and Lady Isabella Bennet, Countess of Arlington.1 He married Lady Henrietta Somerset, daughter of Charles Somerset, Marquess of Worcester and Rebecca Child, on 30 April 1713.

  3. 10 de mar. de 2024 · Grandson of the 2nd duke, Charles Fitzroy (1683–1757), and great-grandson of the 1st, he was educated at Westminster School and Peterhouse, Cambridge. He was secretary of state in 1765 under the Marquess of Rockingham but retired the following year. William Pitt formed a ministry in which Grafton was first lord of the Treasury (1766).
