Charles Gore Hay, 20th Earl of Erroll, KT, CB (7 February 1852 – 8 July 1927), styled Lord Hay until 1891, was a Scottish soldier and Conservative politician.

The 11th Earl of Erroll having died in 1674 without issue, Sir John Hay of Keillour became 12th Earl of Erroll. On his death in 1704, his son, Charles became the 13th Earl of Erroll. Charles died unmarried in 1717, when the title devolved on his sister, Mary.

22 de jun. de 2013 · Mary Caroline L'Estrange was the daughter of Edmund L'Estrange and Lady Henrietta Susan Beresford Lumley. 1 She married Lt.-Col. Charles Gore Hay, 20th Earl of Erroll, son of Major William Harry Hay, 19th Earl of Erroll and Eliza Amelia Gore, on 11 August 1875. 1 She died on 12 October 1934. 1
By the early 20th century, especially with the inflation and taxation that came with the First World War, the Aberdeenshire estates were under serious pressure and Charles, 20th Earl, reluctantly disposed of Slains in 1916, ending a 600 year association with the area.
