Charles Lindley Wood, 2nd Viscount Halifax, FSA, DL (7 June 1839 – 19 January 1934), was a British Anglo-Catholic ecumenist who served as president of the English Church Union from 1868 to 1919, and from 1927 to 1934.

He married Lady Agnes Elizabeth Courtenay, daughter of The Rt Hon William Reginald Courtenay, 11th Earl of Devon and Lady Elizabeth Fortescue, on 22 April 1869.

He was born into a Yorkshire family, the sixth child and fourth son of Charles Wood, 2nd Viscount Halifax (1839–1934), and Lady Agnes Elizabeth Courtenay (1838–1919). His father was President of the English Church Union, which pushed for ecumenical reunion, in 1868, 1919, and 1927–1934.

Charles Lindley Wood, 2nd Viscount Halifax, FSA, DL (7 June 1839 – 19 January 1934), was a British Anglo-Catholic ecumenist who served as president of the English Church Union from 1868 to 1919, and from 1927 to 1934.
The 2nd Earl died at Garrowby Hall in 1980 and was succeeded by his son, Charles Edward Peter Neil Wood, as 3rd Earl of Halifax, 5th Viscount Halifax of Monk Bretton, and 7th Baronet Wood of Barnsley. The Earl and Countess of Halifax currently reside at Garrowby Hall.
