27 de mar. de 2024 · Cheam’s reputation for sport remains extremely strong and all children regularly play in competitive matches for rugby, football, netball, hockey and cricket. The school has a strong drama and musical tradition with many extracurricular groups, including choirs, orchestra and jazz band.
Children are allocated a ‘substance’ to look after them, to guide them around the school, make them feel at home and introduce them to their friends. The purpose of the day is to give the child the opportunity to see what a typical school day looks like and for prospective parents and the School to assess the suitability of Cheam for the child.
He lives close to the School and his three children were all Cheam pupils between 2011 and 2017, as were both his grandfather and great-grandfather many years earlier. Mark was appointed to the Board in 2019 and prior to his becoming its Chair he chaired the Finance Committee for four years.
