As Head of Pre-Prep my primary aim is to ensure that all the children in our care are happy at school and achieve their academic potential. I believe these two go hand-in-hand. We place a huge emphasis on ensuring the well-being of every child and on nurturing their individual talents and independence. Pre-Prep.
Children are allocated a ‘substance’ to look after them, to guide them around the school, make them feel at home and introduce them to their friends. The purpose of the day is to give the child the opportunity to see what a typical school day looks like and for prospective parents and the School to assess the suitability of Cheam for the child.
27 de mar. de 2024 · Cheam’s reputation for sport remains extremely strong and all children regularly play in competitive matches for rugby, football, netball, hockey and cricket. The school has a strong drama and musical tradition with many extracurricular groups, including choirs, orchestra and jazz band.
Cheam will continue to refine its curriculum so that it provides our pupils with the very best skills for their Senior School experience. Boarding is a key part of our offering and a wonderful opportunity to promote leadership amongst our boarders as they enjoy and learn from the 24/7 experience that Cheam boarding provides.
