La Academia de Guerra del Ejército de Chile es la institución encargada de formar a los Oficiales de Estado Mayor del Ejército. Creada el 9 de septiembre de 1886, siendo la primera de su tipo en América y una de las más antiguas del mundo. Está ubicada en la comuna de La Reina, junto a la Academia Politécnica Militar.

The Naval War Academy, located in Valparaiso, teaches Officers to become Joint Chiefs of Staff. Its international recognition is reflected in the high number of foreign Officers and civilian professionals that join its courses.
The Chilean Army ( Spanish: Ejército de Chile) is the land arm of the Chilean Armed Forces. This 80,000-person army (9,200 of which are conscripts) [2] is organized into six divisions, a special operations brigade and an air brigade.
In this context, the Chilean Army War Academy (ACAGUE) has tacitly applied the adult education model since its origins. Since those first German officers who arrived in Chile with the purpose of transmitting the Prussian model, its professors have permanently employed innovative methodologies.
