Chris Parren. British keyboards player. His musical career started in "Forever Amber", in 1969. In 1979 he joined Jim Capalidi's band, "The Contenders". in 1979, Chris joined Maggie Bell in her new band, "Midnight Flyer" before splitting in 1982.
In 1973, Hudson and Ford quit to form Hudson Ford, with the line-up of Chris Parren (keyboards), Mickey Keen (guitar and sound engineer), and Ken Laws (drums). They produced four albums, three for A&M ( Nickelodeon, Free Spirit, Worlds Collide) and a fourth for CBS ( Daylight ).

Hudson Ford were a UK rock band -style duo, formed when John Ford and Richard Hudson left Strawbs in 1973. [1] The original line-up featured Hudson (now playing guitar instead of drums) and Ford along with Chris Parren on keyboards, Mickey Keen on guitars, and Gerry Conway on drums.
