It was of typical basilical form, a wide nave and two aisles on each side and an apsidal end, with the addition of a transept or bema , giving the building the shape of a tau cross .

2 de may. de 2024 · According to the established tradition for traitors, after his execution in 1540, Cromwell’s head was displayed on London Bridge. It was then reunited with the rest of his remains and buried at the Tower’s Chapel of St Peter ad Vincula, where his erstwhile rivals Anne Boleyn and Thomas More had been laid to rest.
