Hace 5 días · The Cathedral Church of St Peter in Exeter is the seat of the diocesan Bishop of Exeter. It is part of the Province of Canterbury. The diocesan bishop (vacant since 30 September 2023) is assisted by two suffragan bishops, the Bishop of Crediton and the Bishop of Plymouth.

Construction of the basilica , built over the historical site of the Circus of Nero , began during the reign of Roman Emperor Constantine I .
Hace 4 días · She was buried in an unmarked grave in the Chapel of St Peter ad Vincula at the Tower of London. Her skeleton was identified during renovations of the chapel in 1876, in the reign of Queen Victoria, and reinterred there in 1877.

With only a few hours of sleep, I got off the train in Rome at about 7:00 a.m. on a hot summer day. The sun was low in the sky and shone directly into my eyes as I exited the train. The air was already heavy and dusty.
