Hace 1 día · Thomas Cromwell ( / ˈkrɒmwəl, - wɛl /; [1] [a] c. 1485 – 28 July 1540), briefly Earl of Essex, was an English statesman and lawyer who served as chief minister to King Henry VIII from 1534 to 1540, when he was beheaded on orders of the king, who later blamed false charges for the execution.

A Grade One listed monument of exceptional significance, and the oldest building in the village, this Early English landmark features an impressive four-stage, niched west tower standing 99 feet tall.
Burial | Lady Jane Grey Reference Guide. A plaque marking Lady Jane Grey’s grave can be seen in the Church of St Peter Ad Vincula at the Tower of London. In 1876 the chapel was excavated and the remains found were removed and then re-buried.
