Journalist. Clare Husted Mountbatten, Marchioness of Milford Haven ( née Steel; born 2 September 1960), is a British aristocrat, journalist and polo player. She held the position of Social Editor for Tatler magazine from 1995 to 2005. She is the co-founder and trustee of James' Place, a charity dedicated to prevent male suicide.

In 1917, she took the title Marchioness of Milford Haven after the title was created for her husband Prince Louis, who abandoned the use of his German surname and titles and adopted the surname Mountbatten.
