Superb examples of English porcelain and silver, particularly pieces relating to the Bowes-Lyon family, are also on display.

16 de sept. de 2022 · Clarence House takes its name from its first occupant: William, Duke of Clarence, the third son of George III, who ruled as William IV from 1830 to 1837. He entered the Royal Navy at the age of 13 in 1778 and, over a career of 30 years – disadvantaged neither by birth nor connection – rose from the rank of Midshipman to Admiral of the Fleet in 1811.

Durante cinco décadas, la Reina Isabel, conocida como Reina Madre y de quien es hija la actual Monarca, la transformó en su hogar desde 1952 hasta su fallecimiento en 2002.

Prince Charles and lady Camila used to reside here before he became the Monarch. It is a beautiful white four-storey house building standing on the Mall. It was designed by John Nash in 1827. It was commissioned by King George III’s third son, the Duke of Clarence, who later became King William IV.
