  1. Claud Hamilton, 1st Lord Paisley (3 June 1546 – 3 May 1621) was a Scottish nobleman who fought at the Battle of Langside in 1568 for Mary, Queen of Scots. He is the ancestor of the earls, marquesses and dukes of Abercorn.

  2. 3 de may. de 2015 · Claud Hamilton, 1st Lord Paisley (Baptised 9 June 1546 – before 3 May 1621) was a Scottish politician. He was a younger son of James Hamilton, 2nd Earl of Arran. In 1553, he received the lands of the abbey of Paisley. As a hostage delivered to England by the Treaty of Berwick, he was said to be 14 years old in March 1560.[1]
