Hace 1 día · The Canadian company Colt Canada (formerly Diemaco) licensed production of a rifle (Colt Model 715) and carbine (Colt Model 725), but later went on to produce an entire line of AR-15/M16 pattern weapons developed independently. In May 2005, Colt's Manufacturing Company acquired Diemaco, and the name was changed to Colt Canada.

However, a number of other manufacturers offer M4-like firearms. Colt previously held a U.S. trademark on the term "M4".

He also created an industrial community surrounding the factory that included housing, a beer garden, social hall and library, and a church.

James Sullivan (AR-15). The M16 was first produced by Colt Manufacturing Company yet is now built by several different manufacturers.

James Miller from ArmaLite Inc., the original AR-15 was designed to be a lightweight assault weapon for use by infantry troops on foot. After seeing its potential, Colt Manufacturing Company purchased ArmaLite's rights to produce and market this firearm as their own.
