Cyril Forster Garbett GCVO (6 de febrero de 1875 - 31 de diciembre de 1955) fue un obispo anglicano y autor. Fue sucesivamente obispo de Southwark, obispo de Winchester y arzobispo de York de 1942 a 1955. Cyril Forster Garbett (gär´bĬt), 1875–1955, English prelate, archbishop of York. Educated at Oxford, he was assistant curate of Portsea (1899–1909) and then vicar there (1909–19). As bishop of Southwark (1919–32) he advocated Anglican social consciousness by publicizing the district's impoverishment.
