David Henry George Lascelles, 8th Earl of Harewood (born 21 October 1950), styled as Viscount Lascelles until 2011, is a British hereditary peer and film and television producer. He is a second cousin of Charles III and a great-grandson of George V .
Lord and Lady Harewood had three sons: David, 8th Earl of Harewood, born 21 October 1950. He married Margaret Messenger on 12 February 1979; they were divorced in 1989. They have four children and seven grandchildren. He married Diane Howse on 11 March 1990. James Lascelles, born 5 October 1953.
The Trustees, staff and volunteers of Harewood House Trust are saddened to hear of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, first cousin once removed and Godmother to the 8th Earl of Harewood, David Lascelles. As a mark of respect, and as a former Royal Household, Harewood closed on Friday 9 September.
