Colonel David Lyulph Gore Wolseley Ogilvy, 12th and 7th Earl of Airlie KT, GCVO, MC (18 July 1893, Cahir, County Tipperary, Ireland – 28 December 1968) was a Scottish peer, soldier and courtier. As a senior member of the royal household, he was a guest at the 1947 wedding of Princess Elizabeth and Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

Airlie was born David George Coke Patrick Ogilvy in Westminster on 17 May 1926. He was the eldest son of the 12th Earl of Airlie and his wife Lady Alexandra Marie Bridget Coke (1891–1984), herself the daughter of 3rd Earl of Leicester.

29 de jun. de 2023 · Lord Airlie was born in London in 1926, the eldest son of David, 12th Earl, and Lady Alexandra Coke. He was educated at Eton and served as an officer in the Scots Guards during the Second World War. He remained in the Army until 1950 when he began studying estate management at the Royal Agricultural College in Cirencester.
