He married Lady Margaret Home, daughter of Alexander Home, 1st Earl of Home and Mary Dudley, on 18 October 1627 (contract).

23 de ene. de 2021 · On 23 January 1570, James Stewart, Earl of Moray, regent for James VI, is assassinated in Linlithgow by James Hamilton of Bothwellhaugh who was armed with a rifled matchlock carbine. Thomas Randolph, 1st Earl of Moray was the son of Thomas Randolph.2 He married Isabella Stewart, daughter of Sir John Stewart of Bonkyl and Margaret de Bonkyl.2 He died on 20 July 1332. He gained the title of 1st Earl of Moray.
